5/8/2023 0 Comments 20 minion quest hunterI’ve just resigned myself to the fact that I’m either going to queue into a deck that counters mine, in which case I know I’m going to be super mad, or I’m going to queue into a deck that doesn’t counter mine, in which case I’m going to be LMAO. Remember when they took away the 3-mana 2/2 Coldlight Oracles because they didn’t like decks that were built around burning your opponent’s cards? Well, say hello to Tickatus and Shellfish because 4-mana 7/7s that burn cards are even better than 3-mana 2/2s. Remember when they said that they were going to get away from charge cards because they didn’t like OTKs? Well, Smite Buff Paladin says otherwise. Either you’re playing a hyper aggro deck that wins by turn 6, or you’re playing hyper control deck that comes back from anything you throw at it. The problem is that Blizzard has enabled way too much memery and has strayed too far from balanced play. Someone on Savjz’s stream put it best, I think: The more fun you’re having, the less fun the other player’s having. It’s probably one of the hardest decks to consistently clear, IMO. Have you tried, I don’t know, getting good? Beast Hunter has a lot of resources to bring more beasts to the table or reviving those that died. When I play any minion based deck, every turn is just me putting up some minions and then my opponent clears the board But, Beast Hunter has been rendered completely worthless after the rotation. In fact, I really love playing Beast Hunter. I haven’t seen Kazakusan in several days now, since the nerf at least. But the rest of the meta decks are passive kazakusan decks.Īgain, wrong. Granted, Aggro DH and Pirate Warrior sits at the top. Quest Hunter is just a symptom of the bigger problem, which is that the entire Hearthstone meta has become passive and uninteractive. My control deck above, for instance, which was kept in check by plenty of aggro decks with minions. There are tons of decks that don’t depend on minions for their main damage. I love it when the opponent is sitting on 10 cards in the hand not knowing what to do when I don’t put out any minions. Quest Hunter is the only deck that is keeping those other control decks in check. My other main deck is a fairly versatile Rogue. I can’t speak for everybody, but at least I didn’t rely on Kazakusan and just added him on a single, admittedly very board-clearing deck, so I wouldn’t run out of cards come turn 20 or so. The kind of decks where the player just passively wait for the opponent to play minions just so they can clear the board I figure most of the people complaining about Quest Hunter are the ones who runs the uninteractive Kazakusan control decks. This ability no longer causes Happiness loss.I see a lot of people complaining about Quest Hunter. Ranged increased from 10 yds to unlimited.
